Personalized Learning Linked to Higher Test Scores

This study by RAND Corporation found that students attending schools that use personalized learning may post slightly higher test scores in reading and math than peers in other schools. The findings highlight data from 40 schools. The researchers concluded through this study that school librarians provide personalized, rigorous learning experiences supported by technology; they offer instruction and equitable access to print and digital resources to ensure a well-rounded education for every student.
