Study: Serving free breakfast in class benefits poor children
More poor children would benefit if schools served free breakfast in classrooms, poverty advocates say. Just 29% of eligible New York City students ate free breakfasts in the cafeteria before class, while more than 90% of eligible students ate in Oregon and New Jersey classrooms.
