Study: One in 10 fourth-graders have tried alcohol
Some 7% of fourth-graders say they've had an alcoholic drink in the past year, and that doubles by sixth grade, according to a new review of student surveys published in the September issue of Prevention Science. "Children are drinking, and our concern with underage drinking needs to start in elementary school, not in high school or college," said lead author John E.
