Cramming report

Study: Cramming, overlearning ineffective for long-term retention
Continuing to study material after students think they've learned it may help in the short term, but does little for long-term retention, according to a study published in the August issue of Current Directions in Psychological Science. The study also found cramming material into single study sessions reduces long-term retention. ScienceDaily (8/29)
